Is there a cure for LCA?
No. Not yet. There is no cure or treatment for LCA. However, medical science has made great strides with their research in clinical settings, just in the past few years. Gene therapy has shown to work in clinical trials with restoring some vision. This is a very critical and exciting time with research, in regards to LCA. Sooner rather than later, there may be a cure. With organizations like ours, helping to provide funding for trials and research, a cure may come sooner than we may think!
